Pipe and Cable Tracing
We undertaking tracing of the watermains, service-pipe connection and general underground utilities.This involves using electronic tracing equipment, including Radio Signal Induction and Ground Penetration Radar to identify the position of the underground utilities / watermains. Where applicable the watermain pipework connectivity will be further confirmed by flow and pressure ‘step-testing’ and acoustic detection methods such as Noise Correlators and Ground Microphones.
The findings from the survey are clearly marked on the ground, recorded by digital photographs and updated manually onto an existing hardcopy site layout map. The data gathered during fieldwork can
also be electronically recorded using GPS equipment and updated on to a digital Ordinance Survey maps.Clients include:
