Fire Hydrant Testing

We undertake fire hydrant flow and pressure testing in accordance with BS9990 (inc BS:5306 Part 1), which outline the level of service fire hydrants should be maintained to allow it to meet the demands imposed in the event of a fire. Fire Hydrants must be inspected, and performance tested on an annual basis.
 
The procedure involves logging the pressure and establishing the maximum sustainable flow rate from each hydrant. The condition of each hydrant and associated chamber is assessed and recorded in accordance with the BS:9990 inspection criteria. Following the completion of the test, a detailed report will be compiled of the results and findings.

• Industrial & Commercial – Hotels, Factories, Shopping Centres
• Developers – Residential or Commercial developments prior to 'handover'
• Consultant Engineers – For projects on new and existing developments
